Final Year Project
Project Title
Quetta Safe City Project: Automatic Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) For Quetta City
Description
Quetta being geographically located in close proximity to Afghan-Pak border has been consistently under attack by multiple terrorist organizations. Other than terrorism, the city has been infected with crimes such as human trafficking, smuggling, abduction and other serious crimes. In order to counter these crimes the Balochistan government has launched Quetta Safe City Project (QSCP) of which I am part of. I developed Automatic Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) to be installed at all entry and exit points of Quetta city in order to keep track of people getting inside the city. Our project exchanges data with NADRA, intelligence agencies and law enforcement organizations to address any security threats to the city. We have used cutting edge technologies to create an end to end close ecosystem that is difficult to penetrate into and it is robust and efficient with large data. (Group Project).
